DevExpress WPF: Scheduler

DevExpress.Wpf.Scheduling includes DevExpress WPF Scheduler controls: an Outlook-inspired scheduler and a companion resource tree component. The scheduler can obtain appointments and resources from view model collections and display them in seven view types. Users can create and reschedule appointments using drag-and-drop operations. Included controls adapt to the active DevExpress application theme.

Included Components

• SchedulerControl — a scheduling control that displays appointments in day, work week, week, month, timeline, agenda, and list views.
• ResourceTreeControl — a companion control that lists scheduler resources and allows users to show or hide them.

Key Features

• View Types: Day, work week, week, month, timeline, agenda, and list views.
• Appointment Capabilities: Recurrence, all-day events, labels, statuses, locations, and reminders.
• Resources: Assign appointments to resources, group the schedule by resource or by date, and share one appointment between multiple resources.
• Interactive Editing: Users can create, move, resize, copy, and delete appointments through built-in appointment, recurrence, and reminder windows.
• Time Regions and Time Rulers: Highlight working hours or unavailable intervals and display multiple time rulers side by side.
• Time Zones: Display a schedule in one time zone while storing appointment times in another.
• Filtering and On-Demand Loading: Specify appointment filters and fetch only the records the current view needs.
• Printing: Preview and print schedules.

Example 1: Use Collection Data to Display a Weekly Schedule

In this configuration, the scheduler behaves as follows:

• Displays one week at a time
• Draws a block for each record in the Appointments collection
• Expands recurring appointments into individual occurrences

The day view shows one column per room. Each appointment appears under the room specified by the RoomId value.
