DevExpress WPF: Scheduler (Legacy)

DevExpress.Wpf.Scheduler implements the legacy DevExpress WPF Scheduler control. The package remains available for applications that already use it. For new applications, reference DevExpress.Wpf.Scheduling instead.

  • View types — day, work week, week, full week, month, and timeline views.
  • Storage-based data model — SchedulerStorage implements appointment and resource storages that map data fields to scheduler properties.
  • Data modes — bound, list-bound, entity-bound, and unbound.
  • Appointment capabilities — recurrence, reminders, labels, and statuses.
  • Resources — display side-by-side calendars grouped by date or by resource.
  • Calendar exchange — import from and export to iCalendar files, and exchange appointments with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Companion UI — Date Navigator, Range Control, and customizable context menus.
  • Printing — preview and print schedules.

In this configuration, the scheduler behaves as follows:

  • Obtains appointments from a collection
  • Displays appointments in the active calendar view
  • Writes user edits back to the bound collection

NOTE: The XAML namespace of this package (.../xaml/scheduler) differs from the namespace of the current Scheduler (.../xaml/scheduling). Reference one package or the other in a given window.
