DevExpress WPF Navigation Bar

DevExpress.Wpf.NavBar includes the DevExpress WPF Navigation Bar control. The NavBarControl displays navigation links grouped according to the specified style: an Outlook-inspired navigation pane, an Explorer-style bar, or a sidebar.

Key Features

• Three Views: Assign NavigationPaneView, ExplorerBarView, or SideBarView to the View property to switch presentation style without changing the item hierarchy.
• Collapsible Groups: Users expand and collapse groups. IsExpanded gets or sets the current state in code.
• Collapsed Navigation Pane: NavigationPaneView collapses to a narrow bar and displays the active group in a popup.
• Overflow Panel: Limit the number of groups visible simultaneously. Remaining groups are available in the overflow panel.
• Custom Content: Place any element inside a NavBarItem or replace group content entirely.
• Data Binding: Bind the control to a collection and map data fields to group and item properties.

In this configuration, the control behaves as follows:

• Displays two groups
• Displays one group at a time in an Outlook-style navigation pane
• Moves groups to the overflow panel when the control shrinks vertically

Replace NavigationPaneView with ExplorerBarView or SideBarView to change the presentation style. Group and item declarations stay the same.
