DevExpress WPF: Chart Controls

DevExpress.Wpf.Charts includes the DevExpress WPF Chart Controls: multiple 2D and 3D chart types, a Sankey diagram, and a heatmap. All included controls can bind directly to view model collections and adapt to the active DevExpress theme.

Included Components

  • ChartControl: A 2D chart control that supports bar, line, area, point, bubble, pie, donut, funnel, radar, polar, financial, and other chart types.
  • Chart3DControl — a 3D chart control that displays surfaces, 3D bars, and 3D point series.
  • SankeyDiagramControl — a flow diagram that displays weighted links between nodes.
  • HeatmapControl — a control that displays matrix data as a color-coded grid.
  • ChartDesigner: An end-user designer dialog that allows users to change the chart type, data settings, and appearance options.

Example 1: Use Collection Data to Plot a Bar Chart

In this configuration, the chart behaves as follows:

  • Displays a bar for each record in the SalesByMonth collection
  • Calculates axis ranges based on bound values
  • Adds a "Revenue" entry to the legend

Example 2: Visualize Flow Between Nodes

In this configuration, the diagram behaves as follows:

  • Creates nodes based on values in the From and To fields
  • Draws links between nodes and sets their thickness based on Amount
