DevExpress Reporting Intelligent Code Completion
The DevExpress.Reporting.CodeCompletion package adds intelligent code completion to Expression Editors in DevExpress End-User Report Designers. Developers and users can quickly create valid expressions using context-aware suggestions and syntax hints for data binding expressions, calculated fields, and formatting rules.

Get Started
End-User Report Designers can use a local code completion engine that works without an Internet connection and supports types defined in custom assemblies. Install the DevExpress.Reporting.CodeCompletion NuGet package and call the CodeCompletionRequestManager.UseLocalEngine method at application startup.
The local engine requires a storage for report layouts. Predefined storage classes are available: FileCodeCompletionContextStorage and InMemoryCodeCompletionContextStorage. You can also implement a custom storage.
Limitations
DevExpress End-User Report Designer for WPF does not support intelligent code completion.
