DevExpress WPF Tree Map

DevExpress.Wpf.TreeMap includes the DevExpress WPF Tree Map control. The TreeMapControl visualizes flat or hierarchical data as nested rectangles.

Key Features

• Flat and Hierarchical Data: TreeMapFlatDataAdapter maps a plain collection. TreeMapHierarchicalDataAdapter maps a tree-like data structure.
• Field Mapping: LabelDataMember and ValueDataMember bind item captions and areas to data fields.
• Colorizers: TreeMapPaletteColorizer assigns palette colors to groups. TreeMapRangeColorizer colors items by value range. Both are assigned to the Colorizer property.
• Group Headers: Display headers above nested groups to make the hierarchy explicit.
• Labels: Configure item labels.
• Tooltips: Display details for the item under the mouse pointer.
• Selection: Allow users to select items and react to selection changes.
• Large Data Source Support: The layout algorithm is optimized to handle large data sets.

In this configuration, the control behaves as follows:

• Draws one rectangle per item in the Sales collection
• Sizes each rectangle in proportion to Amount
• Labels rectangles with Region and paints them using palette colors
