DevExpress WPF Dialogs

DevExpress.Wpf.Dialogs includes DevExpress alternatives to standard WPF dialogs with support for DevExpress themes. DXOpenFileDialog, DXSaveFileDialog, and DXFolderBrowserDialog expose the same API as their Microsoft.Win32 counterparts.

Included Components

• DXOpenFileDialog: Selects one or more files. Multiselect enables multiple selection.
• DXSaveFileDialog: Specifies a target file name and location.
• DXFolderBrowserDialog: Selects a folder.

Key Features

• Familiar API: Filter, InitialDirectory, FileName, and ShowDialog behave as in standard WPF dialogs.
• Multiple View Modes: Users switch between details, list, and icon presentations of the file list.
• File Filters: The Filter property drives the file-type selector, as in the standard dialogs.
• Multi-Selection: Multiselect allows users to pick several files in the open dialog.
• Navigation: A folder tree, address bar, and context menus support the same navigation habits as the shell dialogs.

Example: Show a Themed Open File Dialog

The dialog behaves as follows:

• Filters the file list by the specified file types
• Allows several files to be selected
